Paper Sculpture Competition

 
Our new competition is a paper sculpture. Use paper to craft an object. It could be anything but the boss had a go at a saxophone, so try making musical instruments if you need an idea. We have some beautiful handmade cotton papers in store for decorating and some tough construction board to make sturdy shapes. So be sure to check out the shop and like us on Facebook. Just make sure to get your entries in by June 8!
 
 

Terms & Conditions

There is 1 (one) $50 gift voucher prize to be used within 1 (one) month of receipt. The winner is chosen by Art Max. Submit via messaging the Art Max Facebook page. Entries must be an original work by the artist created for the competition in the specified medium and of the specified subject, physical works only. Winners will be contacted via Facebook message and are required to present the artwork in person at Art Max, Shop 6/170 George Street, Liverpool, NSW, 2170 as proof and to collect the prize. The winner will be photographed with their work and this will be displayed on the Art Max Facebook page. The winning artwork will be displayed in store for 2(two) weeks.

T-Rex Competition

 

Our new competition is painting a T-Rex! Did they have feathers? Who knows! We want you to make a painting of a T-Rex in Acrylics and send it to us (Mostly we just love looking at T-Rex's here). Since it's mothers day this weekend we're giving you some extra time so message your entries in before midnight on May 25th and you'll be in the running to win the $100 gift voucher. See the Rex's below for some inspiration.

Mothers Day Competition

This weeks competition is themed for mothers day! Step 1: Ask your mum what her favourite flower is. Step 2: draw said flower with colour pencil or pastels. Step 3: enter competition. Step 4 (optional) give mum drawing on mothers day.
Pro tip: Buy mum flowers on mothers day.

Art Max Weekly Competition

Our first competition coincides with Star Wars day, May the 4th be with you, so Star Wars is the theme. Make a drawing in pencil, graphite, charcoal or any combination, take a photo and send it to us on Facebook. Entries close Thursday May 4th at 11.59pm and the winner will be selected on Friday. A new competition will be posted on Thursday for the following week.
